I am in the middle of making a decision between IronMan or SPC upper control arms and I would love some feedback from real world experience. I’m going with King 2.5 suspension and want as low a maintenance option as possible. I was told that the IronMan use a factory style ball joint and bushings. I would love any real word world experience that could add to what I’ve learned so far. I would especially love to learn more about their longevity of service life. Thanks so much for your time.

The Ironman UCAs aren’t even out a year so no one here can comment on their longevity yet. That said they look promising.

I have IM UCA on mine and can't really say one way or another. Like the previous poster said its new so time will tell but the Ozzie guys and SE Asia guys seem to use alot of Ironman and havent heard anything bad out of there (on Youtube etc...)

They installed super easy

My decision process was:

It was cheap as it was part of the IM suspension package
It doesn't use proprietary nuts and bolts (like ICON and SPC)
Wont' scare normal alignment shops (SPC)...I went to a 4x4 shop for alignment
Don't have to maintain it (periodic greasing)
Didn't need the breath of adjustments of the SPC as my lift was 2.5-3" so wasn't going to take advantage of all the adjustment
My aligment was right on spec with IM FCP and their UCA's
Wanted to keep my build simple
Can get replacement ball joint etc in any country if it breaks
Don't have to source the proprietary parts from the manufacturer and beholden to part availability and shipping delays etc...

Hello just wanted to get some real life feedback on your IM UCA?

How are they holding up? Any issues so far with the bushings or the UBJ?

daily driver and national park camping and light off roading

No complaints.
I don't get my car up high on rocks and need to squeeze every last inch of travel etc...
medium speed over rocky rutty trails
slow speed of over rocky parts
fast over dirt roads

not a squeak or rattle or complaint.

I don't work them hard though
But the guys in austrailia don't seem to have any problems abusing them though

Thank you Sir. I might just pull the trigger on IM UCA for my 2016 Sequoia. Pricey though.
