I'm about to pull the trigger and order Ironman's 4" kit from ACC. My goal is to have this on and ready to go for GSMTR 2013.

Is anybody running this lift?

I used to have a '99 Tacoma that I lifted. It was simple shackles and spring spacers, nothing like i think I'm fixing to get into. I no longer have access to the lift I used when I did the work on my Tacoma and I'm wondering if anyone has any pointers for putting on a lift in the driveway on jack stands?

I'm a little leary about changing out the panhard rods and the caster plates. Has anybody done this on their rig? If so can you give me some pointers?

I'm open to any and all help anyone is willing to give-

Thanks
Corey

Ill do what I can to lend a hand :)

I think it's a 94!

Not exactly the same ...

I installed the 2.5" Ironman kit on my wife's '95. It was has been primarily trouble free for 11 years. The springs have not sagged. I wish the rear might have sagged some because it was always a little higher than the front. This could be due to running a stock bumper in the rear, but an ARB bullbar in the front with a Warn M12k (i.e., my own fault for not buying a good rear bumper for it yet). The kit came with Ironman brand gel shocks. The shocks have been good, but the bushings did not hold up and had to be replaced. I would advise checking if they have switched to poly shock bushings now.

Final thing, the kit I got did not come with the caster correction radius arm bushings. I ordered those separately. With the kit being only a 2.5" lift, caster correction may not have been strictly required so it was not included. Our truck has driven great with the kit installed (i.e., no tire wear or steering issues) so I am glad that I included the caster correction bushings. On a 4" kit, the correction bushings will probably be necessary so double check what comes in the kit and ask the ACC team for advice this detail and others such as extended brake lines.

Good luck

Looks good, now you are ready for some 37's :grinpimp:

Fun times guys!! It was good to get out for the day and turn some wrenches. Can't wait to see how she does on the trail.

Had a great time helping put the lift on. Looks really good Corey and hope it works as well as it looks. Let me know if it needs any tweaking. Glad you came out Rance, it was good to hang out with you and turn some wrenches. See you soon:D

Looks good...how long did it take you guys to install the lift. It looks like it would be rather easy on a truck with coil springs vs. leaf springs on the 60?

It took us 8 hours! If it would have been just springs and shocks it would have taken us less than 4 hours but we put 3 new brake lines, castor plates, front and rear panhards , sway bar spacers, and rear sway bar drop brackets. The part that took the most time was the castor plates.
