i put My iphone 12 mini in the wireless charge space, kept the door open, but it got so hot, it shut itself down. It was very hot to the touch. That built in wireless charge must not be compatible with the new Apple Magsafe charging system. Anyone have the same experience?

My older X gets hot as does my wife's 11. They charge but it's not worth dealing with the heat issue.

My iPhone 8 gets warm but never hot. Shocker, the 200 prefers older tech. 🤣

Her 11 has over heated and shut down before, my X never has but it's damn near too hot to hold.

Would the recommended use be to use it max 30 minutes without experiencing any overheating issues? Not sure how long you all had it on wireless charger to be soo hot.

Every model iPhone I've put in there has become too hot, IMHO. Phones in there are also hard to access. I don't use it and just plug in the phones and tablets to USB. I use wireless pads in the house that work fine and don't get hot. I don't like hot electronics, so I think Toyota missed the mark on the wireless compartment. (No surprise).

iPhone 12 mini overheats after 30 minutes and shuts itself down.
The space gets surprisingly hit even with the charger powered off.
