Hi friends.

Some of you may remember @LandyLover. He sold his Cruiser 15 years ago, and I am his Son.
If I recall, some of you tried to hit the trails with him, but couldn’t because he sold his Cruiser.

Though LandyLover Doesn’t have a Cruiser anymore, I do!

We currently have 3 wheeling rigs that consist of a FJ62, 1993 Toyota pickup and a ‘19 Tundra as well- they may not be as hard core as your rigs, but they still get us out.

If you guys still are into wheeling, it would be good to get out with some fellow cruiser heads in the Penticton/Kelowna area.

Are there any good Okanagan trails that I haven’t heard of that I should explore?

Thanks

Hey New to the group and hopefully new to the ownership group. Deciding between a troopy and a pick up. Just curious everyones thoughts. I like the pickup , but have kids and dogs. Longer term value? Looking forward to catching up.

Thanks

The next LC I’m going to own is probably going to be a troopy.

Both would hold value great, but honestly I have a Toyota pickup, and I get tired of how small it is , I much prefer the size of my 60 series wagon.

It depends a lot on how you plan to use it. A pick-up is great for hauling stuff, as long as it doesn't have to stay clean and dry. I have a ton of dry bags from my days of camping in a mini-truck. An SUV is great as long as the stuff you are taking with you isn't large, or smelly, as the first thing I do when I buy an SUV is take some used motor oil to the recycler and now my carpet smells like that forever.

Thanks, appreciate your insight. I have two labs and 2 kids, so large and smelly. Don't think the wife will let me keep them in the bed. Leaning towards the troopy.

Yup. You might want a drawer set-up in the back to allow for a bit of storage under a platform that the dogs can stand/lay on.
