Belts is a good idea for sure. I did the same thing. All the belts, all the fluids. The wheels and larger tires helped with fuel economy a bit, but it gets worse with higher speeds. I'm getting between 45-49mpg with mostly 45-60mph driving. The service manual is awesome! I think I bought it from the UK Ebay.

Yay! Another CE95 owner! I was lonely. I too have a 1990 Corolla. However with quite a few more miles on it. She's a great little car. I consistently get 45-50+mpg, albeit at a pretty slow pace. She'll go pretty much anywhere off-road, and darn near climb a tree. Other than the belts, don't forget to check the alternator belt. It is separate from the serpentine belt. Oh, and there is a factory repair manual for the car. It is HUGE. I bought one a couple years back. What did you do for the 3" lift? I have a '92 Alltrac Wagon that I want to lift but everything I've found requires fabrication for the front. Did you somehow find a more bolt in option?
