Glad to be back up and wheeling again. Looking forward to trading some info/tips. Had my '91 FJ80 for almost 20 yrs, over quarter million miles on the clock. Recently did a major overhaul - replaced - master cylinder, starter, alternator, plugs, wires, rotor, fuel pump/filter, Replaced AC condenser/updated AC to R134, all new fluids through-out, New set of 33x12.50x15 Km2. Truck had been sitting up for ~5 years.

Now back to life and running strong. Picking back up where I left off 4x4ing years ago and it feels great. Recently went to WindRock and did the 2018 Appalachian Toyota Round-Up with 4 trucks from CHS area. Was sooo happy to be back on the trail and truck did great. Now have 6 yr son and 9 yr old twin daughters who also have the wheeling bug.

Looking forward to picking up some new ideas and tips for the 80.

Truck looks great! I have a 1992 with 120k on it. The truck sat for about 10 years when I got it so i have been working to get up to par. Is the re-gear worth it on the FJ80? I have been looking in to it and was just wondering.

Do the re-gear - Well worth the re-gear/ especially if you want to run bigger tyres. Helps a lot in getting the truck going and on HWY grades.
