Hi everyone,

After 2 60’s and a couple 80’s over the last 20 years, I finally got a 100 series a few months ago. 2000, 160k miles. Lots of maintenance records, but the suspension is still original. With a couple people in the 2nd or 3rd row the ride gets pretty rough with a lot of bouncing . The rear also sags quite a bit with a couple hundred pounds of weight, so I’m thinking it needs more than just shocks. My question is whether I should go with new OEM springs or a set of the OME 865’s. I don’t really want to lift the vehicle, but the OME option is cheaper and if it improves ride quality (especially with loads), then I’m thinking it might be worth it. I’ve already got a new set of OEM shocks, so I’d be using those and cranking the stock torsion bars to accommodate the OME springs. Also, not sure how the 1.5” lift is going to look with the 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro’s I just put on (still kicking myself for not going with 285/75).

Any advice or experience with this setup (OME 865’s + OEM shocks + stock torsion bars)? Thanks!

This is what im going with. Waiting for a quote for the springs now. OME 2865 1.5", TB crank, and will be ordering OEM shocks. Have 285/75/16 Kenda Klevar MT's on. I was wanting to try Ironman springs but they are 2"... not for my needs
