Re-installed most of the interior today. I had cleaned the carpet prior with a mixture of Dawn and Tide. Deodorized the carpet padding and let it dry for a week. Came out looking and smelling like new. I didn't take before pictures, but it came out really well.

Quick question, how did you pull off the window trim in order to fix your PS window problem? I have a clanking problem with my drivers window and need to find out how I can fix this. Thanks!

To get to anything inside, you have to pull off the whole door panel. Once inside you can look for the 10mm bolt heads that hold the motor and regulator. Usually those are the culprits for clanky windows. If those are tight, check the two 10mm bolts that hold the window clips.

You have to drop the window about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way down to be able to see the bolts for the window clips.

Pulling off the door panel isn't bad. Its a 10 min job. Only tricky part is the trim piece around the door latch/lock. The best way to get it off is to slide a small flat head between the lock and the trim and pop it up.

Also, could you elaborate on the Tide+Dawn mixture and the cleaning apparatus used to make the carpets look that good? Mine badly needs cleaning.

I took a generic spray bottle found at target/lowes/wal-mart etc. and filled about 1/4" with Dawn, and about 1/2" with HE Tide - the rest water. I used HE detergent just because I have an HE washing machine. HE detergent is supposed to sud less. It still suds a lot, but if you don't have HE detergent I would suggest only using 1/4" of detergent.

I sprayed the whole carpet and let it soak for about 30min to an hour. Hit the stains with some extra spray. But not too much because you be dealing with more soap than necessary.

If you have any really grimy oil/grease stains. Pre-treat those with some bug and tar remover first.

For the actual cleaning, I used a generic cleaning brush and scrubbed the mess out of it. For coffee/soda spill areas you have you hit those a lot harder of course. Then I soaked it with some water and took my shop vac to it. Shop vac will fill up quickly because of all the suds from the soap. Having to dump the shop vac every 2 min is the only bad thing.

I repeated the same process about 4 times:
Spray/Scrub/Soak/Vaccuum
Spray/Scrub/Soak/Vaccuum
Spray/Scrub/Soak/Vaccuum
Spray/Scrub/Soak/Vaccuum

After all that, I laid it out to dry. The bottom padding will get soaked and the whole carpet will weigh about 50lbs wet. I let mine hang over the deck railing to let all the water drain out. Flipping it ever hour. To fully dry its going to take about 2 days in the sun. Once it was dry I took some scented Lysol to the carpet padding and soaked it. Let that dry, and I was done. It seems like a very long, long process. But for anyone who can live without carpet for a few days I would suggest it.

Make sure the bristles on the brush you use are soft/medium density. You don't want to mess up the nap of the carpet.

Came out looking and smelling like new. I didn't take before pictures, but imagine the worst. PO had dogs and kids and seemed like they didn't use floor mats. Hair, soda/coffee spills, chips, fries...all the good stuff.

Sounds like my wife's '99! I have been purposely avoiding the task of pulling and cleaning the carpet. Its a wreck from seven years of abuse by the three kids, the drive thru, coffee lids not secured, Labradors, mud, grease, etc. Thanks for the solid info. Planning on giving your method a try next weekend...

Success! We have light! After searching the internet I stumbled across an electronics website that has items from China. Its like an Amazon for electronics. I found T3 and T4 bulbs there cheaper than anywhere else. They come 5 to a pack. I just installed mine. They light up what needs to be lit, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the output. I think a lot of it has to do with the angle, and since they're LED's you can't expect too much angled light.

T3's are for Quarter Windows, PWR 2ND, Seat Heaters, and AHC bulbs

T4's are for the Window Switch. They also fit the dash, but I wasn't replacing anything in there. I'm hoping that they also will fit the HVAC system. If anyone can confirm it would be great. My system is dying and dim

Here's pics of them installed

3rd row sub fixed. The cheapO version, but doesn't sound too bad. It was advertised as a 6" sub, so I thought no cutting would be necessary; but it was actually a 6.5". If I would have known that, I would have gotten a much better speaker. Oh well... at least now I can finish installing my interior

Installed the LED's in my doors. 12, 5050 LED's all downward facing. VERY bright. Exactly what I was looking for. Went through 2 sets of LED's before I found these.

Pics before with standard bulb and after with the new.

After almost a year, FINALLY have replaced the AHC with OEM LC parts. Amazing difference!!!

Give it about 2-3 weeks to settle out and then changing tires and getting alignment.
