Hi everyone, I've been obsessed with Land Cruisers since I was a kid and I saw my first FJ60, but I've never been in a position to buy one. I drove a 2008 RAV4 for 13 years and it was the most dependable car I've ever owned. After our 3rd kid came along I gave the RAV4 to my mom, and bought a Ford Expedition. It was fine when it wasn't in the shop, but I just never had any affection for it., and I longed to get back into a Toyota. After much lurking here on the forums, I decided that it was time to take the plunge. I've been shopping around for about a year, waiting for the right one. I originally was dead set on a 200 series Land Cruiser, but I just never could find one that would fit my modest budget. Yesterday I pulled the trigger on a 2010 LX570. I'm still a little concerned about the possibility of AHC system issues, but I'll just cross that bridge if I ever get there. So far I love it.

I was showing the car to my son this morning and discovered that the tool kit is missing. Does anyone know where the best place to find a replacement would be?

Thanks

Did you look in both sides of the rear tailgate?

It’s a bummer if it is truly missing, the toolkit runs the spare tire hoist, and often also has the security lugnut in it.

Make sure the bottle jack is not missing too.

Yeah, I’ve got the jack, just not the tool kit. I’m pretty sure that I found the security lug nut tool in the cubby near the jack. There was something hefty in a little pouch and I just assumed that that’s what it was. It would probably be smart to verify that.

I’ll probably end up buying that set off of eBay that @Sandroad posted (thanks for that!). I don’t need another jack, but if that might be the best solution.
