Hi all. I bought a 93 LC in March and loved it. BUT - it had some rust issues and I knew I wanted a clean Land Cruiser. I searched for a awhile and tried to find a clean 100 series - but after several test drives I found they lacked the intangible soul of my 93. So the hunt was on for a clean 96 or 97.

Well wouldn't you know a clean one popped up on eBay and I got him to pull the ad 10 hours after posting it. I had Eric Murphy at Camelback Toyota do a comprehensive PPI, ran compression numbers and give it a once over. All checked out well and I had the rust free cruiser shipped out to Virginia. Here is how she sits today in my driveway. Yes it has the magic switch! :grinpimp:

I plan on using it as a DD for a year or so and then keeping it as a weekend and camping rig. I will keep close to stock - maybe delete the running boards. I am a happy camper.

Nice score.

Shoot me a PM if you ever need any help. I am in falls church every week....

Nice pick up... congrats!

Nice looking 40th. Someone took good care it it seems. You did well buying this one.

WOW!! That looks clean! Much cleaner than mine,:crybaby:!

Welcome to the 40th club!! Gotta love the sage, mine used to look just
like that. The transformation has begun to better handle camping expo
trips. Enjoy!! Steve
