Hey all,

So my drivers window stopped working right before a rain storm. I had 3 other master switches of unknown working condition I tried swapping out. 2 of them didn’t work, the other one rolled down the other 3 windows.

I pulled the drivers door card to look for anything suspicious. Everything looked okay.
I opened up one of the master switches to see if I could swap the individual switches. No luck, the drivers switch is different (due to the auto feature?) I could hear what sounded like a solenoid clicking when I moved the drivers switch bar up and down.

Window rolled back up last night. I already ordered a new master switch.

I pulled the regulator/motor a few months back and re-greased. Motor was working well.

This also happed around Christmas last year, but has been working fine since.

Motor, Switch, fuse?

What do you guys think?

When in doubt, break out the multimeter. You need to figure out if power is getting to the motor when you’re pressing the switch. Take a look at the EWD and understand what color wires should be doing what when you press the switches. If the motor is getting power, but your window isn’t moving, you’ve probably ruled out the switches/fuses, etc. Worst case, if you have no meter, you can take some wire and jumper around the switch to determine if it’s bad or not.
