Okay, by now, all of you know that I just purchased a 2000 LC. Mann, I have to say, I love the car...but there is so much to do when you get a used vehicle. I was cleaning the LC today and I noticed that the interior roof carpet is dirty (and I am hoping it's not water damage). Anyways, assuming it's just dirty, what can I do to clean it? Or, do I need to get it replaced?

Also, has there been any incidents of the roof leaking?

Thanks.

I have seen a few with the sunroofs leaking, but not alot. If the reason it is dirty is a leak obviously you need to take care of that first. I used a steam cleaner to clean mine up and it did very nicely. I am pretty sure a full replacement would be quite pricey.

Thanks. My parents have a steam buggy so I can try it.
