I was in the camp KO2 are super quiet, but that changes with mileage and sooner than I expected. At ~20k mark between 5 tires (I rotate in the spare) they become what I would describe loudish and sound almost as loud like my studded Nokians snows. Regularly rotated.
I don't have many miles on my Nitto RGs on my newer 200, but I am curious how they do over long run. They are louder out of the gate at lower speeds. New Nittos are much quieter at highways speeds than the KO2 with 20k miles on them.
I also run KO2s on my Tacoma. Only 11k miles but at ~4y mark they appear more slippery in wet than they used to - getting old/harder? Did not notice that on the 200 (yet?), but they are newer by a year. Need actually to check the date code to confirm.
Given the above and how PIA are KO2s to balance (road force a must), I don't think I will ever buy another set.
Not mine. 39k miles. Rotate every 5k. Mine is still quiet as before. The only thing that I have noticed is drop in fuel economy as KO2 ages.I was in the camp KO2 are super quiet, but that changes with mileage and sooner than I expected. 46 psi which is what is recommended for my tire size. What pressures are you guys running in the KO2's for your sound test?
Thanks. My truck came with highway tires and I've been trying to plan ahead. I've had a great experience with the KO2's on my 4runner, 90k on the first set, and about 20 on the second so far, but they are C rated running 44psi.46 psi which is what is recommended for my tire size.

I am running stock sized KO2 load range D. 46 psi.Thanks. My truck came with highway tires and I've been trying to plan ahead. I've had a great experience with the KO2's on my 4runner, 90k on the first set, and about 20 on the second so far, but they are C rated running 44psi.
Trying to decide whether I want to go with them on the LC, looks like the choice is D or E and I have no experience with anything other than C.
Did you get pulled over for driving like a grandma?!

Pretty damn quiet! Not too bad Toyo…
Also, I have some wind leak issue ive been chasing that i need to fix so i believe i can get it even lower. I think the tint is cut too low on the window and the seam is sitting right at the point it is supposed to seal with the rubber trim. Thats my latest theory anyway.
