Wondering if there was a constant "theme" to interior colors.

Underneath my '64 house-painted rig it looks like the original color may have been some maroon variation.

The original seats have a maroonish edge with tan flats (where you're back and arse touch).

The only thing I've found is my guess that the edge matched the exterior and the rest was a say......I don't know....tannish color? I don't really feel like that answer is correct though.

Any help would be appreicated.

is this an LV?

Its a '64 SWB fixed roof with split rear window. I fell into it (thanks tlcruiserman!) and its my first cruiser so I'm just learning about cruisers now, so ANY input is appreciated, it seems few and far between to be brutally honest.

As far as pics I'm assuming thats of the rig not the seats. I didn't want to have this grand entrance with a pic of a rusty old frame sitting on the ground so as soon as I make some decent progress I'll buy a star and figure out how to post some.

Right now the frame is back from powder coat, I have finished rebuilding the axles ('76 55), purchased a '79 2F from SOR, and Alcan 4" springs should be coming this week. My idea is to get it rolling with the engine in and then do the introduction thing.

Bull my response on the springs may have been vague so I wanted to add that everything I have found says that ALL 45's (LV, LWB, SWB) have the same rear spring dimensions. That was a pain in the ass to find info about. I also wanted to add that drive a cruiser thing is really cool of you.

Hope to have something for everyone to see soon.

I'd be surprised if they ever left the factory with an interior painted a different color than the exterior.

I agree!! The older 'Cruisers were never meant to be something you'd drive to the opera!!
