Hey Gang,

I'm doing some work on the interior of my 1996 LX450, including a Scheelmann driver's seat I bought off ebay with Planted bracket, Delta center console, lots of USB outlets and a Midland Radio install. I have the front seats torn out as well as the center console.

1. On the LX450, the seatbelt female receivers are bolted to the seats. I haven't torn them apart yet but I'm hoping I can unbolt from stock seat and attach it to the Planted bracket. But the chime--how have you either salvaged the seatbelt chime components from the stock seat OR disabled the chime all together? I'm open to either or something I'm not considering.

2. Are any of the resulting wiring from the CD player, speaker, etc. viable power sources for a USB charging port?

I'm sure I'll keep adding to this thread as I work my way through the rig but thank you!

Ok, so seat belt is not an issue. Can’t say enough about the Planted brackets…so worth it if you’re doing this swap.

I ended up running power from the engine bay to my Delta console rather than trying to find power via the old connectors.
