Intakes, exhaust & turbo info

Ok I have asked this a couple of times in other threads and never really got a definative answer. What is the cost verses benefit for adding each to a 100 for HP gains? I am aware of the oil filter problems but couldn't you and a larger/better intake and use a regular paper filter with an nice Borla exhaust and get some decent HP gains or no? Since I don't have time or the know how to install a turbo what would the total expense to buy and have installed? Does this put excess strain or wear & tear on the engine? Are there many other potential problems with these mods? And yes I have looked up and read everything there is in the DBase back almost 2 years.

Cost of a supercharger installed? HP gain?

Turbo, intercooler with 3" exhaust, complete with fuel managment, extra injectors, fuel pump etc. Around $11k installed. HP gains at the wheels, 185 to 325.

Thank you so much for the answer. Now how much will adding this reduce the life of your engine or tranny generally speaking? Also what kind of maintanence is involved or recommended?
