I wear many "heads" as I have many vehicles.
As some of you know, I had difficulty, and then success with getting an insurance policy on my HDJ-80 a while back. For some who did not read my original thread, I had to resort to a different company to insure the rig, and they activated a policy within an hour. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I get a phone call from my agent representative from Allstate where I do all my insurance needs for residence and vehicles. Allstate issued a policy on the rig!! Best part is, I even saved 8 bucks per month. Note- I only have liability on it. After significant amount of mods are put on, the coverage will be more comprehensive.
Funny thing about all this is, is that Allstate according to my research on the Internet, stopped covering grey market vehicles in North Carolina two-three years ago. As Dylan said, "the times are a changin'." Nevertheless, I am happy, and my policies expire at the same time, and all is good with the world.
