Well, I did my first ever radiator install on Sunday. It took me a little over 4 hours from start to finish, as I ran into a few issues along the way. By issues I mean figuring out what needed to be removed in order to do the job properly.
It is amazing how much better the truck starts up... carb seems happier, too. I drove it to work today (45 minutes one way) and she ran at the halfway mark the whole time. Same coming home.
The old radiator was the cause of many problems, though it was the last thing I suspected. Turns out it had a few tiny holes in it... I just happened to notice them while working on another part of the truck. Glad I replaced it.
If anyone is interested, I went with an OEM style CFS Radiator from CCOT... it ran $238. It looked great out of the box. Very well made. The mounts and all holes lined up 100%. No problems there. I am happy that the truck is happy again.
