I took advantage of the good weather today to install my ARB bumper. It came out nice and I only had to donate a small amount of knuckle skin and blood. Though, I think somewhere there is an Austrailian laughing about the directions that come with this bumper. ;p

Next on the list is the OME heavies on the front.

Looks great!!! at least there will be one less oblivious FJC driver on the road.

If the coilovers are similar to the tacoma then they should only take an hour and a half start to finish tools up and hands washed. Chock wheel, jack, pull tire, rotor, stock strut(three nuts at top and one castle nut at bottom) and reassemble in reverse. I was surprised how fast it went.

He will need spring compressor (or three) and those 886's are STIFF. If it were me, I'd take them to the local Midas or ??? To have them swap the springs...

Installed the front suspension this morning. It took right at 3hrs from start to finish but I was taking my time and chatting up the curious neighbors that wanted to know what I was up to.

Sorry dude, my life plan is to stay as oblivious as possible. ;p

Looks really nice and like Eric said the insers are nice.

Farther down the road a set of lights will make their debut in that spot. They have to wait until I get the lift for Julie's Frontier.

Again, my oblivious life plan rears it's ugly head. I used two spring compressors I had left over from my road racing days. They did the trick no problem. It would have made it a lot easier to take them to a shop to have done but I got knuckle skin to remove. No time to drive across town to save some skin.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. My Toyota work is done for now....off to the land of Nissan.

That looks tough. My buddy just bought a tan FJC in RDU and his wife has a Jeep so he lives in a split household as well. Ill have to get him on here to get the wheels turning for the first modifications.

If your in the inner RDU check out Spanish for Fun (his wifes biz) for preshcool alternatives.
