Looking at the H motor FSM recently and came across this. Do you diesel guys check/replace this oil?

Thanks!

Unless I'm mistaken you want pure Neatsfoot oil.
This is used to keep the diaphragm supple.

from my reading, it appears that the OEM diaphram is made from leather, hence the need for neats oil for lubrication. Okay. Looking on Partsouq for a replacement and I only see part number 22303-47010, diaphram, but this appears to be rubber. Does that sound correct?

To answer my own question after lots of reading the 12ht doesn’t have this diaphragm from the 2H IP.

Freaky- that top oil check/replace instruction image is not the neatsfoot governor diaphragm lube, that looks like the H engine injection pump has its own isolated lube oil reservoir. In the 2H and 12HT, to the best of my knowledge, the injection pump gets it lube oil straight from the the engine itself, so you never have to check or replace it.
