My 4 and 6 year old girls get in and out by themselves fine. They seem to enjoy it. I have OME 2.5", 33's, and Slee step sliders. They just grab onto the door handle and the inside of the cab to pull themselves up.

Thanks for the info. Again, she can get in/out just fine, as well. Like you said about your kids, the truck is fun for her, especially compared to our VW wagons, I'm just thinking of options to make it easier or more fun for her.

Thanks again!

Oh, sorry. I kinda skimmed before I posted. Woops! It's a nice idea to add fun hand holds. There are things in the rock climbing world that might work.

I bent the driver's a-pillar handle a little bit on mine and was wondering if there's a billet replacement or something. I'll keep an eye out.

^ No sweat! Others have posted slider fotos/ideas and it all helps. Yeah, I just want to add something simple and fun, you know, another option for her...the used belt idea is good, I also eyeballed a 'build-your-own' type website for straps, handles, etc., that are fairly cheap, seem strong, and are easily added/removed/relocated.

Nice idea on the A-pillar. I added the handle that goes over the driver's door (like the other doors), I wonder if that might be an option for you? It was cheap on here, too.

I also thought of using a nylon web dog collar. They might be closer to the right size, if you get one for a big dog.

That's basically what one would like if made of that website. Adjustable, too, for different locations/uses...even a critter...

Thanks!
