Wanted In search of parts to rebuild starter

I hadn't drove the LC in a week, and it was clicking around when I went to start it and thought the 5 year old battery (purchased 4 years ago and still under warranty) was to blame. Put it on trickle charge for 24 hours.

Drove it to church yesterday, started up just fine, but I did notice that I had to engage the ignition twice on one of the starts, and the battery seemed strong.

Went to take the kids to school this morning, started up strong but the starter kept going and going until I could grab a 10mm and get the negative terminal off the post.

Looking to order the contacts and plunger, it is a 1995. Believe it is the 2.0KW.

A lot of the posts I found were several years old. Options in 2019 on best places/vendors to order from?

Call your local dealer...the contacts and plunger is probably less than $30...I think!! Lol. It's been a while since I did mine.

I rebuilt the starter in my 1994 Pickup using a kit I got from eBay. It did the same thing and was taking forever to crank until it would only go until I rapidly cranked the key and then it started. Really easy job and the truck started fantastic after I did that.
