In-dash NAV unit with topo's?

I've got the DDX514 installed now with the Sirius connect for my Stiletto. NAV is next to go in but I still need to source some wiring supplies. Probably be a few weeks before I have the time again.

So far I like the unit. Easy to use and read from drivers seat. Only complaint so far is with the Sirius control. I have not figured out how to access my music library on the Stiletto. And the controls on the Stiletto become locked when connected to the head unit. If I can not gain access, I will be very disappointed with that feature.

Another re-kindle...

Has anyone had any luck with the new Kenwood DNX9960 and Garmin Topo maps? I'd like to install a head unit that will run topo's and I know that the earlier Kenwood head units will do this but I can't find anyone who has verified that the DNX9960 will allow topo installs.

As far as I know everyone with a Garmin based Kenwood has be able to run the topo's so you should be fine.

I am yet to load topo on mine. Life has been in the way of such things lately. But everything is been connected for a while. NAV, Bluetooth, Ipod, Sirius.

Id love to see a screen shot of the in-dash running topos if any one has one..... Please?

I have been trying to convince myself to make the jump and upgrade.... this would make it eeasier to sell to the wifey.....

Does anyone know of SD Micro based software that will run on a "Windows CE" based head unit? I have software that runs and works fine for the highway and roads but when I am in the desert I like to use the "bread crumb" type tracking that shows where I have been and the software I have does not have this function. My current software is from a German company named Polstar and I run PolNav.
