Hi All,
I'm looking at a 1999 Land Cruiser this afternoon. It spent most of it's life in Pennsylvania, and came to Colorado for the last 3-4 years. According to the Car Fax, it had regular maintenance at the Toyota dealer and was driven about 8-15k per year. Based on the photos, the body is near spotless, the seller noted just a few small spots with some rust bubbles forming on the edges, and little to no rust underneath. It has the rear locker, power everything, 3rd row seating, and everything else that seems to be typical on the 100 series. It has 205XXX miles on it and is burgundy in color. The price: $5000.
Is this a good buy? Am I getting a particularly good deal or a so-so one? With regular maintenance how much more can I expect to get out of this? What are common things to look for when buying a used 100 series?
I'm new to the forum, so if this isn't the right place for this, or if there are already threads on this please just let me know. Thank you!
