Well the powersteering pump on my Tacoma let go this morning on my way to the T station. I have been meaning to replace the rack and pump as the pump has been making noise and I needed to do a inner tie rod and the rack was leaking a little too. Well I guess I'm stuck driving my dad's spare car a Heep Grand Cherokee :o until I get it fixed.

Does anyone know of a good source for these parts other than the dealer? The truck has over 180k on the odometer and want to get away a cheap as possible as I will proabably only have the truck for another two years or so. I have a buddy who works a Boch and can get me his cost on the parts but they are still wicked expensive.

I've dealt with CDAN on Mud, Great price (let him know you are on Mud) part was here in less than a week (gas tank).
I'll deal with h im again.

Thanks guys. I will check him out. I don't know if he will be able to give me employee cost that my buddy can get. But it may be worth checking with him.

Well it took a little longer than expected yesterday but I got the pump and rack replaced on the Taco. Driving that pos Heep made me really appreciate the Toyota.
