As of today, my new-to-me-80 is on a trailer to me.

It's been a while, and for reasons I had to take a break from it all. But that has passed - and now my attention is back to what it was that I missed.

A couple of pictures of my new 1994 - it's basically exactly what I had previously built up, sans a part time kit. I'm looking forward to seeing it next week, and then going over everything to make sure it's ready to go for GSMTR in a few short weeks.

(As usual, nothing like waiting until the last minute to decide on something big, huh?)

Hope to see some old friends again, looking forward to meeting a few new ones along the way. It's been too long.

80 did GREAT at GSMTR. I think the only nit I have is that it needs an alignment.

Luis helped weld on a new panhard bracket to help with the rear axel alignment. Did some "major upgrades" for trail fixes to fix a leaky air intake manafold with electrical tape. Fixed a faulty rear hatch latch with a screwdriver.

This truck went over everthing without argument. Only locked it up 2x's the whole week - freaking amazing. (Yeah, I probably should have taken even more challenging trails, but my passengers might have argued it was good enough).

GREAT TIME at GSMTR. Missed the old crew, met a bunch of new friends.
