well it is finally done...26095...they wore me down, was a battle till the end...tried to get lower but they wouldnt budge as least not today...lots of slimey dealer tricks etc...ugh i feeel so dirty i think i need a shower

did find out that damage was cosmetic only...called the dealer that did work and got ahold of records...no suspension or wheel parts were damaged...tech went through everything and all cosmetic...so hopefully nothin major was left undone

i would like to say thanks to all that helped...got some work to do now to the LC, not pristine by any means but a good looker and with some elbow grease will be sorted soon...so now the MODS? whaddya think? lowered and spinners? just kidding....

pretty wiped out...gonna have a beer and chill
thanks again
bill

Congrats.. Did better than me.. I went from $29.9, to 28.9, to 27.5, to settle on $26.9.. I also felt like I needed a shower.. But since I've been in India for about 2 years, I'm used to having to negotiate for even a class of purified water.

did better, no way...u dropped 3k on a LC with less miles...well done...will need ya in my court next time...good luck

There will be NO next time.. Especially owning a LC.. I hope not..

Congrats Bill. I actually enjoy the battle and a touch dissapointed that Colorado is going to "No haggle" type dealerships - perhaps that was the reason I bought mine out of state.
You did good considering you resolved the issues which is peace of mind and that is worth some amount.
Don't forget the official Intro thread - and with PICTURES. Now Mod that thing

Congrats Bill. I would not be concerned about miles, these things are way over built, they don't even get broke in until you hit 100K miles. Welcome to our world.

hey all...sorry to be away but have had a bunch of projects in the pipe...my new research project(s) are P/U, considering, of course, 1st gen tundra, new tundra and new gm 1500 series (sorry)...its so hard to find 4x4 in TX...other item is do i get a cheap track car...i have an older 911 that i take to track days but car is almost too nice to track so considering a stripped out 944 instead...i have to say if you are a type A (a******, anal-retentive) like me the internet is a dream and a curse wrapped into one package...too much info out there

...i finally got the camera sorted and wanted to post a pic taken on galveston island from early this summer

did most of the 90k recently and truck has been perfect, still a couple of little mech items to sort.....family has loved the truck, with 80k on the odo it still seems new...what a great vehicle...tryin to plan a late autumn trip to NM or west TX (pull a pop up)...man so much to do and so little time, time just seems to fly by....i just wish i had some "REAL" places to drive it...need to get back out west...well someday i hope

thanks again to everyone for the help...will try not to be a stranger, seems like i only come here when i need something...sorry

enjoy the weekend :)
