Bug: IH8MUD App for iPhone

Anyone having issues posting/starting threads with theirs?

I cant seem to do anything other than browse the forum and send and reply to PM's... I cant logout either! odd.....

I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it a few times now to no avail....

you technical glitch lol... Unless I am doing this to myself somehow?

I can't post, reply to PM's, nor create threads. When I attach a photo it will erase the text.

Any ideas?

Sorry I forgot to update but the work around I found is that if you type a few words then hit "return" the send button will light up and work.

I still get the photo problem from time to time, but my PM's have always worked so I can't help you on that.

Here is a new one, I can now type over myself if I try and correct a word....

While I'm at it I had this all typed out then went to go add a photo and this all got deleted

From the developers help forum, they've got a bunch of oddities/issues going right now...hopefully, a fix is pending...

Here is one to add... My issue is on my iPad, same as an iPhone, so I am resurrecting this thread. Was having trouble with the app loading and remaining a dark screen. Deleted and reloaded the app, all is well, it came right up. Now all the posts within any thread is backwards chronologically. The first post is at the bottom of the page, last post at the top. My forum reading settings are to view first unread post like it was last time.

When the black screen or various other errors happen I just kill the process and that fixes it. Double press the home button and a list of the active apps will pop up. Long press on one of the icons until the little minus sign shows up on each one, then tap on the minus sign of the app you want to quit, then press the home button again to get out of that mode, then launch the app as usual. Way faster than a reinstall and usually works.

The app has a lot of problems for sure.

if there was another option, i'd be all over it...but thus far, this is the 'best' game in town that won't include a 5 digit developer fee...

tho, I've got a group discussing just that...

Yeah, I like the app a lot, warts and all, it's way better than Tapatalk for example.

A new "bug": it can't handle an ignore list anymore, i.e. if I have anyone on ignore the app fails with the "the server sent an unparseable result" error. This didn't used to be a problem, I think it started with the current version. Just another minor annoyance though.
