Did you put new pinch molding on the interior to clean up the appearance? If yes, where did you get it from? I'm having a bugger of a time trying to find any. I figured black would be the easiest to find (and look better around windows anyhoo).

i did had the windows glued in with w/s glue, not the butyl tape that toyota used (i wasn't sure how well the butyl tape would hold) and i sourced pinch molding from a local w/s shop, but it's cheaper though places like jc whitney

I picked up some butyl tape at a body supply shop, and the stuff is insane. I accidentally touched my finger to a part of it (lightly) and it was practically welded on there.

As far as JC Whitney, I checked on there yesterday and couldn't find anything. I'll ask around the body supply shops here in Spokane and see if maybe they have anything that'll work for the molding.

I'm not sure what you want but McMaster-Carr has a lot of edge grip weatherstrip (pages 3368, 3369) and vinyl edge trim (page 3656).

Looks like Style #13 on page 3369 will work perfectly with the round "Q" looking part cut off. The cut probably wouldn't be pretty, but that side can be the unexposed side easily.

Score! Looks like I found my match.

Style 3 on page 3368 has the side mounted circular seal without the tail from the "Q".

And the stuff midway down the page on page 3656 is edge trim without any seal.

I don't think you should have to cut any part off. Am I missing something?
