Just post it on here and I’ll post the Manheim MMR average wholesale for it.

I need:
Region/State
Year
Make
Model
Miles
Trim level
Color
Condition Ex clean / clean / fair / poor

*Note that the vast majority of units are clean to fair. Ex clean needs no reconditioning whatsoever, imcluding tires.

I'll play, curious if I got a good deal!

Right, just letting him know a Green 200 can pull a premium on a private sale.

That is so true. I looked for a good green unit for about 3 years. I drove 1100 miles round trip to look at one in Scottsbluff Nebraska at Team Toyota that was a complete turd. I don't mind giving them free publicity because they blatantly lied to me about the car's condition.

When I finally found one in Gulfport MS, they were asking I think $38K for it. When I talked to the salesman, I said "you've got me by the balls on this one because it's the one I want. I'll pay your ask if you'll fill it full of gas for the ride home."

It's been a gem.

I think these values are going to be extremely skewed from actual market value which varies considerably based on many factors not considered like maintenance, rust, mods, local demand, etc.

Manheim IS the actual market and sales are adjusted by region. Wholesale market. MMR is an average. If there's a 5.0 unit (extra clean with records etc.), of course it's going to bring higher. A dog is going to bring $ thousands less.

Manheim posts high, low, avg from what i recall, takes into account some of those factors. I also recall west coast cars fetched significantly more than east/midwest.

I don’t know of any make / model where there would be $ thousands of difference. A few $ hundred is the most I’ve seen.

OH, I'm curious. I got a few, if you can, please.

It's only the market for people with access to it which precludes 99.9% of all buyers, so again it's not the actual market for most people. If everyone here was a dealer with access to the auction, different story.

Oh, I'm not going to find out. I got STUPID lucky and found this one within 3hr drive of my home, within a week of seriously looking for a 200. I literally didn't know the color existed until a couple nights before buying it, after seeing Fat Army for sale. Yes, I know I make few friends volunteering this info.

I only offered to post it if folks wanted to know what average wholesale is on their car.
