Did a wed-sat (tgiving) marion campground base camp style outing. This in support of wife training for future Himalayan trek.
Wed into thurs: wiiiiiiindy (probably 70mph +, but that was xfeet above ground level)! but survived a-ok as marion spot 3 has good tent staking.
Tried to do the marion to black mountain road (trailed walking wife as a support vehicle). there is a section of private land...with locked gate. had to return in defeat
All and all a good trip w/o disasters.
