Before I put my clutch in, I would notice that my vehicle would surge here and there. I attributed that to the slippage. Anyways, no more slippage with a new clutch and there is no more surging. Now it hesitates unless I floor it. Any idea what that is?

Also, when I come down to an idle, my motor usually stops at around 1100 - 1500 rpm's. I have to stick my foot under the gas pedal and lift up to get it back to 500. Any idea why it does that also? Is it just my pedal needs adjusting?

Sorry about the dopey questions. I am sure this has an easy fix, I just don't really know.

Thanks,

Sounds like the throttle linkage is sticky. I'd start with a clean 'n lube of the linkage pivot points. After that you'll probalby need to set the high and low idle limit screws on the back of the carb. If its still surging I'd look into vacuum leaks.
