3 on the tree four speed sounds rare.

( does say "4 speed transfer case" in honesty)

If the 1F was rebuilt by a well renowned guru, I'd think it'd be worth half that, based on pics and the unknown condition of floor below the liner, but to ask $6k and not include, at least, a $99 battery seems odd.

At least there's some warning. I was told battery not included after a long drive to buy a parts rig. Luckily I convinced the guy to follow me home and pull it at my place. I he he spent more in gas and time than his battery was worth, but folks can be funny about things.

You know....the first thing I had to do on both of mine was buy a battery, yet that was the least important misrepresentations made regarding either purchase.

I guess I should have bought a battery instead of assuming that the engine needed overhauling. If I had known it only needed that, I could be riding now.

^ Good one! Notice that this truck has 6 "course" axles. Maybe two courses of axle work for every meal. I do like those rare, white spoke Land Cruiser rims though.

Well it could be that this person cannot afford to keep putting money into the rig probably has fallen onto hard times.

It is a little disrespectful to be bashing on a fellow pig owner, who clearly seems to be having a hard time with finances.

We are not bashing. We are processing...logistics on how to convince a buddy to buy sight unseen and have it shipped 2500 miles....just so they can be in the same predicament we are in! Lighten up. If we can help this dude, we will.

He is "the dude" and still here to help, starting with the ad, all constructive criticism.

It's "Land Cruiser", not "landcruiser" and this is important to generate the ad in more CL searches. Granted, a seasoned searcher will have the incorrect spelling as a search word.

There are other errors in the description, but may be irrelevant to the intended market since the price is on the high side, in my opinion, without further describing what went into rebuilding the F, how the floor pan rust was corrected, and a running status upon purchase without contingency.

Unbiased and honestly, the price is high, but I can say that from experience of paying too much.

Good luck with the sale.

I'm sure that anyone the replied would gladly delete their posts to not hinder upon your ability to sell.

He pulled that listing, now has price as "make offer".

I pulled the Seattle listing to make the changes that are recommended and also to get better pictures of the Land Cruiser and the items that are included.

Also I changed the listing to make an offer to see what the value is to the people in the surrounding area.

The reason I posted in Seattle was to drum up interest. It appears to have worked.

Thank you (Delancy) for the advise. Every thing helps.
