0POR sliders installed from metal tech. Super stout very heavy, heavier than I thought.
Used rust oleum "forged hammer antique pewter" paint after a healthy dose of rustoleum gray primer. I ended up welding the driver side plate because I just didn't trust the two little bolts holding on the front of the slider.also the brake line on the driver side is really close to the rear bracket so I put a 3 washers in front of the brake line bracket to try to give it a little bit of buffer. Putting on the passenger side next.

That's awesome! I have those wheels on my wish list and was curious what color for sliders would best match. Look very close in the photo. Look good in person too?

The color is actually closer to the silver color of my truck then the wheels. It's just a little bit lighter than the wheels but about as close as I can find. It just so happens that that color and rest oleum is the most expensive one they have. Like eight bucks a can

I ended up welding the middle support bar in the front support bar on the passenger side. The sliders come with these crush rivets that you drill out the frame and put them in and I just couldn't figure out how to get them to work right they kept spinning inside the frame so I just welded everything. Welding is much more stable anyways

Any updates on this? This is my favorite GX for sure, super simple and clean while the wheels fit the color perfectly. I'm coincidentally moving to Boise this summer too so maybe I'll see ya around.
