The annual ICBM (I Cruised Barnwell Mountain) run is the last weekend of October at BMRA in Gilmer Texas.

There's really not much to plan other than I'd like to get t-shirts done. The ICBM shirts have always been my favorites. I don't even know if there's enough time left to do them, but if you have ideas on designs post them up.

Any other suggestions, let 'er rip.
 
Speaking of shirts...are there any larges left from the Roundup of this year?
 
Can we get there Thursday after 12 like always?

Roundup Tee's were sold out 'cept for a few odd sizes at the event:D:D

They are all gone now

Guess I'm coming!?? I'm looking at getting a used UPS truck to use as a delivery truck/tow rig:grinpimp: I need it sometimes. Get me the art and I will get em' done.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Chris comes up with. His stuff is really cool.

Originally I was thinking along the lines of some of our 'classic' ICBM shirts, where we just had the logo on the front and a quote on the back. Something like, "...this one time, at Old Camp..." :D
 
FWIW...

I would like to see a reprise of an earlier slogan, "The trail goes on forever and the party never ends."

Maybe in small print under our club logo on front, or on the sleeve.

I finally got a hold of BMRA to make sure that weekend is ok. :rolleyes: Their fall work weekend is that weekend, but that only means that we can't use the pavilion on Saturday. They'll have food and a swap meet there Saturday afternoon.

I'm still waiting to hear if they'll let us in on Thursday night.

I got a note from the FJ Trail Team that they want to attend! :bounce:

I still haven't received any t-shirt ideas yet. As a backup plan I vote we have an idea in reserve and get those printed if we don't get anything else. Something simple like the older shirts.

I was thinking we'd do the 'newbie' class Friday afternoon - maybe 2-ish? Is that too early? I wanted to get it out of the way so they could enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Potluck Saturday night?

There are 2 other trail teams if one can't make it. :flipoff2:

Newbie class Friday afternoon sounds good to me. Justin Ward won't be there. I will be happy to help you with it or just do it myself - your choice. I/We could do one Saturday also ifn' ya want. :grinpimp:
 
Sorry Mark. It seems to be an ICBM tradition for me to listen to the UT game on the radio while we're on the trail.

Brett, congrats! I can't think of a better anniversary present than camping in east Texas! :D

Update on Thursday arrivals: Well, basically we still don't know - but there's a reason why it's more difficult now. It seems they've had some people (not members) come in to the park recently and steal a motorcycle and took the park jeep for a joyride. The committee is still weighing options on how to control the gate at night, including hiring someone to sit out there and monitor it. So they haven't really said yes or no yet, just that they aren't sure how to handle it. If I get an update, I'll let everyone know.
