I will be rolling through your turf on August 23rd and 24th.

Will be heading from South of Fresno,CA to Salem Oregon.

I will be setting up for the 25th Anniversary Timbersports Championships on the 25th at the Oregon State Fair. The 25th anniversay Timbersports will be a combination of the Pro Series as well as the collegiate series and it will all be on ESPN or ESPN2. :D

I will not be there for the Shears Brothers Forestry Comedy LumberJack Show or the Dogs and Logs competition that is follwoing the Timbersports on the same stage, etc.

If you happed to be at the Oregon State Fair, stop on by and say HI.

Dan

 Awesome Dan!

Would be a pleasure to meet ya one of these days. Most our club is in Medford, Yreka, Grants Pass, Ashland (Southern Oregon).

Couple folks up in Eugene.

If you end up in the area let us know. Place to crash, BBQ, etc :D

I can stay the night of the 23rd in one of those areas. I can make it to Medford if that is were the club meets.

The rig I will be driving is an F 450 Crew Cab pulling the 38' STIHL Show Trailer. Having a CDL is a requirement so I will only be able to travel legally 14hours before I have to take some "Off Duty" time. Maybe we could all get together for dinner or something.

Sounds good. Medford is roughly 3.5hrs from Salem. Glad to try and host something like a BBQ for ya.

And esh has you covered up north :D

Medford or GP is where most of the club is. Dinner sounds awesome. Could do a BBQ so you could sample some of the local flavor, or there's tons of good eats around here depending on what you like.

Do you think you'll be on the road for 14 hours before you hit Salem? Not that I'm complaining that you're thinking about stopping in Medford, but Google Maps only shows around 11.5 hours from Fresno to Salem. Of course that's at the car speed limit rather than truck/trailer speed limit, so that could add another hour or so.....

I will be starting about 1.5 hours south of Fresno. Pulling a trailer in CA, the speed limit is 55mph. I got a ticket for 57mph (on I-5) so I now stick to 55. I have at least 4 weigh stations I have to go through that I can remember. And then we have the Siskiyou Mountain Range.

Dinner on the 23rd is do-able.

A ticket for 2 MPH over?

I know that getting a ticket with your CDL sucks big time. Don't you get your CDL suspended or something like that?

Sounds great. Any type of food requirements or preferences you got?

CDL holders are held to the letter of the law in Oregon, even in their personal vehicles they can get dinged for minute infractions. So I've heard, at least. Besides, if you hold a CDL you are more likely to pay the fines as you can't make money without it!
BTW when is the ACT? or did I miss it?
Would look forward to meeting you!

Wish I was closer.

I PMed both of you. Dan has some things that I want and I have some things that Gabe wants, so if

Dan could bring my stuff to Medford,
Gabe could bring it to Boise and return with his goodies.

Thanks for considering this, fellas!

Your house?

Mine's out. Still under construction. Though maybe I could get some "demonstrations" done by D'Animal.... :hhmm:

I just meant that if you two are meeting up for him to leave you some parts (are you?), I'd like to say hi, even if it's literally just for five minutes or so.

I think D'Animal got a later start than originally planned/intended, he rolled in about 10:30 PM tonight. Way cool guy.

Got a bumper and 37 for Chad now. (Dang, now I want 37's on my truck so bad.... :frown: )
