Just joined the forum. Had been over in the blue room for years. Sold my 08 Trail Team FJ as family priorities have changed. Therefore I picked up a 99 LX, at 160,000 miles right now. Looking forward to some fun in it. It is the wife's DD but It will be our adventuring rig too. No mods yet, need to save up; however, I did install a new radiator(had developed a crack in plastic above fins), serpentine belt, and thermostat last night. Went a lot smoother than I was expecting. Just thought I would say hello. Plan to do a full AHC flush this weekend. Then I will think about some sliders, front bumper and see where the trail leads.

Congrats on the purchase, from a fellow Raleighwood native. I am like you got the truck, want to do the mods, just need to save. Mine is a 99 also (LC). Sounds like you are a DIYer, I am too. Or at least if the job seems pretty easy. You better post pics soon. The mud crew is gonna want them. I think I still need to post pics.

Raleighwood here as well. East coast gear supply near Fred Anderson Toyota on 70 can assist with mods. They installed my diff drop and rear 865 springs for a really reasonable price.
