I think I might have a screw loose.

This was discovered laying about in my '04 LC during a recent car wash. Anyone recognize where it may have come from? Yes, I recognize that it might not be from my LC, but I figured if anyone would know if it came from my LC, it would be someone on Mud.

What part of the vehicle did you find it in? Looks similar to a screw from the glove box door area. (and a million other places)

Dr side kick panel, glove box door area. Its most likely a visible bolt since its been powedercoated black and a buttonhead top

That's the discombobulator screw. It holds down the discombobulator actuator during the start sequence. For god's sake don't start the vehicle until this is replaced.

I think it holds the front bumper on.

That goes to the flux capacitor. Don't attempt to enter a slipstream into hyper space until you've replaced it in its original location, lest you care to discover a new dimension.

Haha this was a good laugh after a long day at work! I have two random trim pieces that were free floating when I bought my rig, cannot for the life of me figure out where they go... Unfortunately I'm going to make a thread just like this lol, but my pieces are much more unique looking than that screw!

This fell off mine after a speed bump. Any ideas?

The replies to this thread are why I love this forum. Should I mention that my car wash guy put the the screw in the sunglasses holder in my overhead console and that I spent 3 weeks trying to diagnose a severe rattle in my dash before finding the screw? Yeah, c'mon!
