I think i have fuel delivery problems?!?!?

So sometimes when I start the truck up it will crank fine then start to sputter and then dies and it sounds like it is running out of gas. Once I give it some gas it then runs fine.

Also another issue that makes me think I have fuel issues is when going down a highway or something around 55-70mhp and about 1800-2200rpms if i get the throttle in the right spot I will get this really horrible vibration. And it only happens in overdrive, when I throw it into 3rd it will not do it.

Could this be the fuel filter needing changing or is my fuel pump going out? Or something totally different from what I think.

I would start with the fuel filter. Very easy and inexpensive. The vibration is most likely something else since you cant repeat it in other gears. If it happens always at the same rpm then engine, if only in one gear then probably not the fuel.

Just ordered the new fuel filter and it will be here tomorrow and we will see of it helps any. Thanks
