I really wish there was a waxed canvas tire cover

Anyone? I wonder how many want one. I've longed for one. Something simple with a landcruiser logo waxed canvas long lasting.

I've sewn some bike gear from cotton duck canvas and waxed them myself. They got gross after a lot of use. Not sure if it's different in other environments, it's super humid and hot here. It definitely needs some upkeep, cleaning and rewaxing. Unless you just really want that look, I'd look into something made with a heavy Cordura or even Sunbrella. You can easily get the same look as canvas without the maintenance.

Here in Texas working with waxed canvas is a major PITA. I have a big tarp that I used to cover the LCs during hail storms and while very heavy duty and durable, the wax residue get everywhere and the tarp is super heavy and hard to fold. I guess none of these are issues with a tire cover, since it will be installed 99% of the time, but something to consider in hot climates.

I like this idea better. Sunbrella lasts a LONG time without fading or breaking down.
