I need to loose smog pump

I want to take out the smog pump and all of the Emissions stuff off of the truck. And I want to switch to the K3236-7387 weber kit from Man-a-Fre. and run their 6-to-headers. So any help on just how to take the system out would be helpful thanks.

There's a desmog diagram, and sending your distributor and carburetor in to Jim C in a good way to ensure top performance.

What year's your 60?

My FJ60 is an 85.

I got an idler pulley from Jim C. (cruiser head here on Mud) that replaces the smog pump. some guys are running a second alternator in the smog pumps place.

I have that set up almost entirely. I'm getting about 14mpg in city and I got 20mpg driving on the highway this weekend! Its a nice set up if you can tune the carb right.
