After getting your guy's advice, I decided to make my own transmission adapter. I can bolt it to the mounting area on the rear of the tranny. The arms will keep it steady and the angle can be adjusted using the carriage bolt.

Along with some leftover UniStrut, eh?

I think that blue paint adds at least 10% more safe working load, right?

Looks mo-betta than the HF quality one I picked up about 10 yrs ago.:cheers:

That looks great, good effort. That would allow a bit more room than the motorbike jack I use. Hope there isn't a patent on it;)
