Dude,

You got serious help from a JEEP :D Your 100 may indeed be the superior vehicle BUT a nice jeeper came to your rescue.

Perhaps this will teach us not to bash on Jeeps or other brands so much!

LOL! I get irate when I see stickers like that  Sorry about the soapbox!

Nice story! And a weird failure too. I would love to hear the movie that the jeeper is going to tell his friends :) I'm happy to read there are still some nice helpful guys.

Next time add a mountain bike to your gear :)

good to hear you were fine.

damn, this metal is thin...

and yes, with a HiLift (and a place to put it) you would have been out in 10 minutes.... :)

I'm sorry to hear that it was so hard to find someone to help you. If it would happen in Africa, any tourist comming by would probably help you. Well, except if they were French - when I had a flat tire in Morroco, two cars of French people just passed by (and sadly, one of them was a LC100) - and half of my luggage was out of the car and we were travelling alone (with only one car I mean).
If the natives would come by, they would help imeddiately, as $s would be shining in their eyes ;) .

But I never understood people not helping other people in need. Next day it could be you (well in this case it was you ;) ).

Regards
Samo
