Hi lads
I have a 24v HJ60. Anyhow just picked up a 12v Warn 8274, - it is older but has not been used
I am wondering if anyone has interest i swapping their 24v motor for a 12v one: I will pay shipping both ways (if it is not crazy i.e in north america and perhaps europe)

the winch I have was bought by hydro Ontario and basically sat on the storage shelf - it really looks like it has had no or little use from top to bottom

- Or: If you have a 24v warn motor for sale - let me know

Swap out the solenoid pack for a Albright and run the 12v motor on 24v.
You will be fine trust me, plus I just saved you a whole bunch of money.

Thanks but
By Albright I assume solenoid - what Albright do u recommend? one for 12v or 24v or are they one and the same

You say I will be fine - as in I will not burn out the motor? that would be great but I remain concerned

thanks again Kent in Ottawa
