I gots me another 60. I love 60s.

I'll post up some details & pics a little later on.

But I will say for now that it has a 350 EFI & auto tranny. A mini truck t-case. SOA & very little rust. It also has a desperate need for a paint job, as it is currently Red & I don't like Red vehicles. I'm thinkin White or Silver over Charcoal...???

When the sun comes back up I'll take some pics.

This is going to be a project for a few months as I work out all the details & finish up the odds & ends the P.O. left un-finished from the drive train swap & the SOA. And of course doing all the crap I want to do to it, you know stickers, lockers, stickers, body work, stickers....you get the idea.

I'm open to suggestions from my fellow Cruiserheads on things to do to it. I plan on keeping my 61, so it may take a while, as funds are in short supply, but, I just had to have it & the price was right.

I cant afford to feed you captain two years in a row....but if it comes to that, my god I will, then ill throw you the keys to someones truck, since jimmy wont be there this time, ill have to find some other noob's truck....maybe phils.

I suggest you be the one to drive it off the trailer at washita....other wise you may not get a chance to drive it.

If you two really want to drive my rig under the influence, I'll let you under the following conditions:

1. You must wheel offorad the entire day wearing cowboy boots, sequined thong, a feather boa, and shirtless.

2. You must shop in the closest Walmart and purchase $30 worth of groceries while in the above stated attire. You will be provided a list of items to purchase. All items on the list must be purchased. IF Walmart demands you wear a shirt while shopping, one will be provided for you.

3. At no time will you hide yourself from view of the general public.

4. If there are police personell within a 1/4 mile radius of your location, you will present yourself to the officer and demand to be searched for contraband.

Something tells me that Tony is quite prepared to go the distance to satisfy my demands.

Can't drive it to tech day
Like I said gotta finish up the drive train swap
 
here are three pics.
Here is what I know so far:
interior is very nice, drivers seat bottom has a wear hole from getting in/out
body is very straight & very nice, has 4 rust places on rear quarters, small easy fixes. Needs new tailgate & I have one in same color. I have a R.F. fender & a L.R. door in same color. Rest of body is free of rust!!
Underside of truck is completely rust free. Frame in very nice shape, even @ the back!
Engine is in & wired up. He did a nice job on motor mounts.
I need to make a cross member for t-case.
Not sure about using the mini case.....I'll have to wait & see, may change that
Have to make drive shafts.
Spring over looks to be well done, welds are nice. Springs have a positive arch
front axle needs knuckle service

Good job Tone......I say leave the paint as is, I dig it!!

Wish I would of been driving a 60 last night, big azz deer tore the sheit out of my little DD, would of bounced off a 60.......hmmmmm:hhmm: .
 
stronger than a split case I bet....

And it has this magical thing called an aftermarket.
