I still haven't tracked down a deal on a reasonably local military trailer...

So I found a new project to bother my whiney neighbors with my air tools tonight.

haha, yeah, I posted the BEFORE pic in a different thread and someone suggested I look into a SOA swap. I never even thought about it since that BEFORE pic was the first time I used the trailer for a Home Depot trip since my switch from 35s and Js to 39s and 6" springs.

While I'm sure I could have done it in a matter of minutes with another set of hands I was able to complete it myself after figuring out what and how to unbolt and reconnect everything under there.

The only down side is that the axle has a substantial bend in it which I assume is for wheel castor or alignment, and now its reversed.

With as frequent as I use the trailer, I doubt it will ever be an issue though.


The box in the before pic was my grill I bought at HD.
 
I wouldn't run it like that! just weld new spring perches on the top of the axle and install the axle properly
