We are registered!! Larry, we are planning on leaving town late Friday morning (Randy has to work until 10am) so we won't be there until late Friday night. I am pretty sure Randy has your number so we will try and get in touch with you when we get there.
Glad you are going. It was great last year. I am 90 % sure my son will be going along with me and we are staying in Longview. My Cell is 631.485.2920 and it is good to text me as it costs me for out of area, but if you call it is ok too.
I am just cheap on some things, not on car spending, though. Wade is going, Jason is not.

Thanks, made down here (am staying in Longview) this evening. 40' seems warm after the -17 in Des Moines when we left at 6 AM. Roads were great. Am heading for Barnwell in the morning to check in and try a few trails. We are staying at the Holiday Inn. Right next door to Texas Roadhouse. - Larry and son, Larry
I will post a link to photobucket of some shots my son took of the event. I had the usual minor carnage, sometimes not so minor, may post that when I get a photo. Anyway here is link- werpogo/Jamboree oh 9 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Thank you, Larry, for recommending this event - we had a great time. It was hard to leave 65' & sunny weather yesterday! We narrowly escaped some damage on our last run Sunday afternoon.... Here are our pics from the trip.
nice pics from both of you but I was amazed to see the number of FJ Cruisers vs older trucks in the group shots... was that just a function of you hanging with mostly FJ's or were there really that few 40's, 60's, etc there?
There were a lot of FJC there, about 40 probably. The different vehicle types tend to segregate because of like capabilities. Not a lot of 40's or 60's though. Almost all FJC's drive to the event, and the 40's and such are not as comfortable on the road for long trips. Woody about destroyed his 80, a broken front axle, broken transmission case and rear driveshaft. When you have to drive it home it makes for chicken decisions.
