Man, I sure wish I could have printed those for yall. Put me down for one! Maybe us Mississippi boys will be through with the clean-up by the time yall reschedule.

Later,

Glad to hear Kowboys is the place to party!

I'm also in for 2 XL shirts.

Would LSLC like to make a road trip over for the Southern Cruiser Crawl weekend of Oct.7/8/9 since yawls party was rained out?

The best word I can find to describe ICBM 2005 is uneventful. I do not mean that in a bad way. It simply means nothing really happened.

We rolled in about 6:30pm. Kowboy, Lynn Renfro, Roger from Tennessee, and Chris and Marde were already there. Butch arrived the same time we did. Everyone set up camp then ate and drank (or maybe it was drank, then ate, then drank - I don't remember). Later, Dave Dearborn from Atlanta, and Josh and his group came in. Just after I hit the sack at 2:30am Dave Williams (Pig brethren) and his daughter arrived. He and Dearborn stayed up all night and were still up when I got up at 8:00am. Jim Alexander came early Friday morning. Butch made an early trip to the ChemCan and went back to bed. He got up much later, and for some reason, seemed to feel a little under the weather. Maybe he had a touch of the flu. After sleeping in their clean, dry, air conditioned house, Chris and Marde came back Friday morning.

We had time for a little wheeling in the upper 90 degree heat. The hardcore guys hit the hardcore trails. Others of us started down Twister. We bailed on that and split up again. We had an easy group consisting of me, my wife, and Chris and Marde. The other guys hit some harder trails. A few more folks, including Ronnie Lewis and his son trikled in Friday afternoon. We all bailed out of Gilmer by 5:30pm. I am glad we did as the rains came early Saturday morning, and they are still getting pounded as I type this.

All in all an uneventful ICBM. No carnage or breakage I am aware of. No rolls. No pot luck. It is just that nothing really happen except a good but short time had by the folks that were there, and my stomach still hurts from laughing continuously while in the White Trash Commune Thursday night. By the way - a big "HELL YEAH" to the White Trash of Elwood Chapter for having the majority of the attendees at this years ICBM.

proud White Trash member

BTW, I am all in favor of calling this the ICBM prerun and having ICBM later this year.

Kowboy rolled 18 minutes in on Sat morning..... I saw the pix tonite at the commune where DD fixed some beef borgone, or something slike that....

We may reschedule since the tee shirts did not even make it.
Butch
If Nick will bring the shirts to next month's meeting we'll help you get rid of some. I hope it's rescheduled, alot of of people (myself included) were looking forward to it.

Couple things at BMRA coming up worthy of consideration:

Toyota Territory Off-Road Association (TTORA) is having the annual BMRA Halloween run October 27-30, any Toyota is welcome.

The Superlift event at BMRA is November 11-13. That same weeknd Toyota Trail Riders (TTR) are going to AGR (The Wheelin' Ranch) in Nocona. Anyone is welcome to meet up with us.

Toyota Trail Riders are hosting the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree at BMRA January 19-22. This is an open TLCA event.

Anyone is welcome at the TTORA or TTR events. Please pass the word if you reschedule...

The T shirts made it fine. They're safe with me.
I have better sense than to drive into a storm with no fuel supplies because the Texas DOT has rerouted fuel to the folks stuck between Huntsville and Dallas. ;-)

Happy Trails! N

Man those turned out looking great! Sweet artwork too! ;)

He laid it over on it's side on the top of Twister 15 minutes after they left camp.
I saw the pix, Jim Alexander used his winch to set it back up.

This event should be re-scheduled, due to the hurricane weather and compounded problems. From what I've read, several people besides myself canceled at the last minute and would have enjoyed being there. I'm sure no one would complain about some cooler weather when their camping the weekend either. So....any plans to re-schedule?

Sounds like my trip to Roundup '06... :flipoff2:

Except I'm coming!

Hope to be able to somewhat offset fuel cost... trying to find used veggie oil suppliers.. 90 gallons will get me a little ways...
