I have read many, many posts, that don't exactly answer my questions.

I want to use a synthetic line, but I don't see any that will work on an m15000 from Warn. There are a few companies that make lines for the m15000, but they are $600-$700. Is there some where cheaper?

Is the line easy to change out after the winch is installed?

What are all the parts that I need to install on an ARB Bull horn bumper for 1997 LX?

Some have installed a power quick disconnect that can also be used for jumper cables. Any thoughts?

Just trying to get all the parts needed before I begin the install. I don't want to do it twice. Any recommendations is much appreciated.

The m12000 and the m15000 weigh the same amount, so I was looking for either for a good price. You'd have to go down to a m8000 to save 50lbs. Half the weight of my dog. At least it's not on the roof :D

A 2:1 safety factor is nice on winch line but it is often less. IIRC 7/16" Amsteel Blue Dyneema SK75 has an average break of 23,900 lbs which is less than 2:1 but I've sold a good number of 7/16" lines for 15,000 lb winches mounted to big trucks and vans. The synthetic line should be stronger than the 7/16" cable the winch came with - and safer to boot.

Many 8,000 lb winches come stock with 5/16" steel cable. 5/16" Dyneema Sk75 line has an average break of 13,700 lbs. 3/8" is a popular upgrade though at 19,600 lbs.

Now on your 15k winch you could go with 1/2" line at 34,000 lbs average break but then you are giving up a good bit of length with the wider diameter.
