I have a '76 FJ40 (w/disk brakes) and looking to switch out Dick Cepak wheels in favor of stock-look wheels and considering Stockton-made 15x7 steel wheels with 3.5 offset to mount to BFG All Terrain 33x10.50x15 LR tires. I've been checking this site as my goal is to have equal or better performance on HWY 65+ mph as well as safe pressure down 4 wheeling. Do you think this is a safe application that will also pass for the stock look? (My local mechanic suggested OEM 15x5.5" steelies running at 22 psi for proper seating but would add to improper tire wear and issues of coming off the rim while 4 wheeling?)

Stockton tells me they take 4 weeks to produce and come with either 12 5/8 or 13 1/4' clips for caps. Which is most common application? Thanks for any advice!

I like the 15x7 for that tire application better, their wheels are good, you'll be fine there.
As far as caps go, order one from your local Toyota dealer (like $20) and if you ship the cap to Stockton, they will weld on custom clips on your made to order wheels for that cap to attach to the wheel.

I just ordered a set of 16 x 7 wheels to go with 255/85R 16 tires – basically the same size as what you're talking about. I got zero offset 4" backspace wheels from Summit and will be here in the day. There about 100 bucks apiece and available immediately and I think they have a better offset for keeping things from sticking out and rubbing... But we'll see soon. Anyway- it's another option that is probably cheaper but there is no choice for hubcap clips.

From other threads on mud there are only 6 holes not a double set as pictured on Summit:
